B.N.M.R (Bilaterl Neuro-muscular Release technique)
|
Bilateral neuro-muscular release is exactly what is...A bilateral release of the nerves and muscles which drains neurotoxins, lactic acid, protein deposits, toxic blood, etc. Most importantly, memory stored in the muscles, nerves, even the skin that hold us back from becoming the true versions of ourselves that have worked to get to in this year, month-moment...Unlike other forms of deep neuro-muscular techniques and structural integration which mainly deal with the muscles or fascia, B.N.M.R deals directly with the nerves which are the core facilitators of intelligence in the body. Rolfing for instance, deals primarily with breaking up the fascia and reintegrating some structure and alignment to the muscle tissue…but what about the nerves? They are the wires to the vehicle. They are what cause the muscles and skeleton to move at all. They send chemical signals through electrical impulses that carry messages from your brain to your body to make it do what you will. Well, what happens to those all those messages over your life? Your body is designed to be touched on a regular basis- actually massaged. That stimulation is designed to break up the proteins that fill the constant micro tears in the muscles from day to day usage, and release the ‘chemical messages’ left in the nerve endings ( both physical and emotional ) that become rancid over time and hold memory ties to the subconscious and conscious mind. In short, our body stores our past chemically and it effects our present (gift), which intern affects our future. Our body becomes chemically weighted down by our past, and because it’s gradual…we become desensitized to it. This science releases the static bio-electricity in the nerve endings, thus triggering the release of these backed up ‘chemical messages’ sitting in the nerve endings. This floods them into the blood stream which is the sewage system of our ‘cities’, that filters the toxins to the liver and out of the body. In releasing the nerves it causes the muscles to tense and then remain in a state of relaxation for realignment and reprogramming of proper anatomical movement patterns. It’s like we all have a stress code sequence, and that code sequence develops from a number of things overtime: nervousness, emotional stress, sports activities, car accidents, our furniture (American)-how about just sitting in traffic. Through all this general ware and tare on the body being active in life, we stress our nervous system causing it to release a chemical called acetylcholine (a chemical that wears out your nerve endings over time). In doings so, it stresses the muscles and in conjunction with whatever emotional reaction we hold with that experience, we manipulate our muscles out of place storing a muscle memory file of that experience/injury in the muscle fiber itself. Over time, these memories accumulate like files in a computer, and just like the hard drive of your computer when it gets to full, it inhibits new memories, experiences, and events circulating around it. How this transfers to us as organic computer processing systems…human beings, is that when the being fills up with the static memory files of his or her past, they inhibit the being consciously and subconsciously in the present moment of experiencing new memories-new life. It affects everything about us…how we express ourselves, how we listen, how we carry ourselves, even how we breathe. I always think of the coin phrase, “We’re holding the weight of the world on our shoulders”, and we are…literally. When we release this “weight”, all the past memories of our lives, it liberates us consciously to experience new life lessons free from our past.
MENTAL PREPARATION
Well since we’re deprogramming the stress code sequence, in your “hard drive”, which really branches out to even every cell considering that they’ve discovered that you even have cerebral fluid in your skin. It is my experience as a patient of this science for over a decade, to anticipate your mind/ego to be your greatest adversary. You see as strange as it may sound, we don’t want to let go of our trauma, our pain...our past. On some level we believe it makes us who we are, that we’ll lose a piece of ourselves if we let it go. What you need to focus on is that there isn’t a treatment in the world that can take away all the knowledge, wisdom, and persona you have gained in this life. It’s the trauma of the learning process along the path, “the suffering”, that accumulates and holds us back from becoming who we are in the ‘present’. The word, ‘present’ means more than this moment. I also means, ‘gift’, and how can we truly be the us of 2009 or 2012, if we still have the stress from all the experiences of all the years that lead up to the ‘present’...to this gift. You need to focus on being open to face what has been hidden away, covered up, and repressed. Understanding that this country especially conditions it’s people to repress and contain their emotions. Acknowledging the by-product we’ve become from our environment. That our body is designed to be touched, and we live in an ‘anti’ touch country, where touch and stimulation to the body is either sexual or nothing at all. That less than 10% of the population even understands how our body works. It’s time to reflect that we’ve been shown how to oper- ate this vehicle properly. It’s time to realize that the only person who is going to heal you...is you.
PHYSICAL PREPARATION
Although there’s only so much one can try to scramble to do before the rebuilding of damaged temple, there are some things that will truly make a difference in your body's regeneration and recovery. (1) Ample hydration at least a couple hours before a treatment. (2) taking any of the following vitamins/supplements pre and post treatment: silica, MSM, magnesium, detoxified iodine, trace minerals, probiotics, Kombucah tea, ask for a details list from your practitioner. (3) Soaking, steam, or sauna pre or post treatment. (4) Acupuncture, any type of massage, reflexology, lymphatic drainage, reiki, pre or post treatment (always with respect and communication what you body tells you). It’s time to open the lines of communication between mind and body, it’s time to listen.
What to Expect after a treatment...
First and foremost, everyone is different. Every body, every mind, every spirit is unique in it’s creation...but, if you have a human body, there are some basic processes that are the same within in all of us. We all feel emotions, we all feel pleasure, and we all feel pain. Now, as we release the toxins from the nerves, as well as the lactic acid, protein deposits, and memory from the muscles, we also activate a variety of systems: The Nervous system, which is the facilitator of intelligence in the body. When we wake up the nerves, they wake up the body and the body starts healing itself. The nerves exper- ience both emotional and physical trauma. As your nerves release past accumulated trauma, you may experience spontaneous emotional release (SER). This includes crying, anger, sad- ness, even random laughter. This is because as the body’s memories are activated and released in treatment, it is only the beginning. It’s like creating a tidal wave that continues releasing for the next day, month, year...Everyone’s tidal wave is different. Just tell yourself to ride the wave and remember feeling, “funny” or “weird”...is nothing to be afraid of, as there is unknown territory to be crossed in getting back on track with releasing a lifetime of memory that’s been waiting to be freed. We tend to fear the unknown... Embrace it! It will set you free!!!
The Muscular system, which develops lactic acid, protein deposits, and most importantly memory in the form of neuro-toxicity. The muscles hold the two types of memory that the nerves release when stressed in life. After a treatment the protein deposits and lactic acid that have been broken down, dissolve and drain in the blood (which is the sewage system of the body).
The Lymphatic system, which transports fluid that distributes immune cells and interacts with the blood circulatory system to drain fluid from cells and tissues. The lymphatic system contains immune cells called lymphocytes, which protect the body against antigens (viruses, bacteria, etc.) that invade the body. The lymph nodes, which act as filters, get over- whelmed with toxins, and after treatment they dramatically drain. If they are toxified, they can range in in sensation from feeling tender to even sore. Which will subside within 3-5 days, or longer depending on various health conditions.
